R&D ASSISTANT (Footwear & Watch) Working Location: JinJiang (Fujian - China) Job Description:  Role as an assistant of the Product Manager (Footwear);  Sourcing different required materials such as POP, advertisement, window display, local marketing activities’ (mostly for shops, department stores and shopping mall) and special packaging materials (souvenir / gifts), special promotional items, rare materials (for shoes), new vendor to create new businesses related to the brand (but not footwear).  Following up with the factory/shop and assist them to understand the Heydude needs, confirming the prototypes and samples till the final delivery to us or the final client.  Maintain the accurate data about the stock in China about those items, prepare the deliveries to single destination about this POP material.  Registration of WEWOOD and HEYDUDE trademark (communication with lawyers who will perform the registration) in each Country of exclusive distribution contract and keep update file info in the shared server cloud based, so that everyone is aware of the updated situation in each Country for each trademark and design patent.  Loading on Mexal (Company ERP system) all barcodes for shoes SKU and for boxes and record all images to print on sticker for boxes  Preparation of file for stickers for boxes (procedure from mexal)  Update each SKU Weight/Volumes on Mexal before production (and check after production if data were right)  Prepare selling price for POP and not core business item.  Keep sample rooms organized with all footwear samples updated and kept following the company rules.  Shoes Salesmen samples allocation record on a spreadsheet and information to final client and respective sales manager about sample delivery date, missing skus, new delivery, delays, cancellation.  For Watches: Keep update the line-list of the collection / SKUs with all product info - Class the Bill of Materials of products (products sheet with all instructions)  General management of China office relationship regarding R&D and supervision quality dept issues regarding production problems.  Solve with designer and externals problem arising in production (wrong not available material/cancellation/delays…, sometimes asking CEO) Requirements:  At least 2 years of experience in project management with at least 1 years in footwear environment is demanded.  Good written/verbal communication skills, prioritization, problem-solving and decision-making skills required. A working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is an advantage.  Strong understanding of English language, both verbally and written, Fluent Mandarin is mandatory  Drives product development and serves as the main interface with Design, Marketing, Merchandising and Sales teams  Proactively identifies items opportunities to propose to Heydude above teams  Develops relative costing strategies and its related application  Performs to deliver precise prototypes, in partnership with vendor base, with the appropriate taste and aesthetic levels (design team is close and can help)  Builds strong cross-functional partnerships with Design, Merchandising, Marketing, Sales and overseas teams and intuitively know when to effectively leverage.  Applied understanding of the international vendor community  Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and partnerships  Strong levels of Detail Orientation  Strong levels of problem-solving skills/ability  Strong levels of Decision-Making skills/ability  High levels of Social Perceptiveness
